Basement named one of the 1,000
private titans by INC. Magazine
Described as an exclusive roster of the largest and most inspiring private companies, the 2020 list features a host of iconic companies as well as up-and-comers like The Basement, who have made the list for the first time.
“It’s both exciting and humbling to be included with the companies on this list,” says Brian Phillips, The Basement’s CEO. “We always appreciate the recognition we receive for The Basement, but to be singled out for being inspirational beyond our start-up phase? That’s something of which we are particularly proud.”
Since its 2007 inception, The Basement’s culture has been predicated on all things innovative and inspiring, while focusing on a client’s business outcomes. The Inc. recognition is described by The Basement President Jacob Leffler as “validation” of the people, processes and ideals upon which he and Phillips set out to build the company upon.
“It’s particularly gratifying to be selected for something that is as reflective of our culture as it is of our accomplishments,” says Leffler. “We set out to make a difference and being included on this particular Inc. list really reinforces the fact that we have.”
The Basement has also been included on The Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies five (5) of the last six (6) years. Based in Indianapolis, IN, the company provides integrated services from strategic creative and production services, to media planning and execution, and business intelligence.
