APPROACH

Collaborate with the Allegion design team to engineer and develop an innovative new 3D product rendering pipeline. Comprehensive and flexible, it will meet the needs of a single product launch or support the sustained growth of an array of global brands.

OUTCOME

The pipeline itself, along with thousands of agency-generated product renderings, launched to immediate success and acclaim. It is now the foundation of a new and evolving service group inside of Allegion and will continue to add value for years to come.

INSIGHT

A comprehensive study of systems, platforms, channels and needs revealed a serious demand for a truly innovative content development solution. Quality control with product photography, efficient management of assets, a need to systematically create assets efficiently in house – these were all identified in our discovery as key factors in supporting Allegion’s short-term product launches, ongoing retail efforts and long-term global marketing initiatives. Integration into emerging, non-traditional channels, including an array of rich-media opportunities, was also identified as an important goal.

SOLUTION

Collaborate closely with the Allegion design team to develop and engineer a robust, innovative new 3D product rendering pipeline. It includes both a rendering platform as well as a process that can ultimately be transferred to and implemented internally by the Allegion in-house team. We are currently implementing in-agency with our design and animation team creating product renders and 360-degree product displays. Preliminary packaging designs. Point of Sale. A+ content. Video. Social integration. And more – for 25 brands and thousands of SKUs distributed to more than 130 countries.
